8 inch silver wont eat pellets

ive had him for a week now, so i guess im just not giving him enough time?
i have tried pellets and sticks and he spits out all of them.

My silver did the same thing when I first got him. Just give it some time and keep offering him pellets...he'll take them eventually.

I think it took mine about a month before he started eating pellets. Now he eats just about anything I put in there...krill, market shrimp, hikari pellets...even brine, bloodworms, and mysis shrimp.
