Picked up a 96"x18"x15" tank recently and I was thinking of stocking it with CA cichlids. I would love to here some ideas on what you would do with a tank this size. I do like the look of jags so if that could be incorporated that would be awesome.

thats a narrow tank...I say a breeding pair of oscars
they can get up too 13". i don't think that would be a good choice.

How about some Thorichthys sp.? (firemouths and relatives) They can have great colors and stay a little smaller. You could also mix in some Nics and maybe some convicts or convict types (HRPs, Cutteri, etc.). These would make for a nice CA community

you could do a pair of rainbow cichlid or some type of archocentrus.

Am I missing something here? It's 18"s wide, is that not plenty of room for a 13" fish? Theres people that keep jags in a 125 gallon.. my tank is 2' longer then that but with the same width :nilly:
