800+ ltr L shaped corner tank

well finally finished the tank. Have a look see what you think. Holdong my breath hoping it will not fale at the front corner or fall through my lounge room floor as it is a 2 story house, I've had 2 builders look underneath at the beams and they say i SHOULD be ok but after i filled it i heard a few noises from the floor but i'm just putting it down to "settling in". Any way i'm happy with the look and i think my fish are aswell.

well it seems to be holding up has'nt fallen through the floor yet, bit of an issue with temp but other than the 2 FX 5's seem to be doing there job just need to play around with the output flow directions to get a better mix of the water as i was getting 2 different PH readings from each end of then tank.

But all in all i'm pretty happy with the result and credit goes out to th guy who built the tank.

I paid abotu $2500(aus) for the tank just under $1000 for the filters and probably another $1000 on bits and pieces. Worth it ??? You bet

not trying to make you sick or anything but johnptc sells brand new FX5's for $200.................................. ...............................(thats probably what you look like when you read this) i'm ordering mine within the next week from him.

but none the less kisk @$$ set up!! definately worth it.

Price difference is because he's in australia...

Great looking tank mate! I'd definately be doing a bit of aquascaping... a fake log here and there and pvc pipe doesn't do that sort of display tank justice at all. not to mention the $$$ you spent on it!
