80gallon community question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I think that size would work fine. Try it and if it doesn't work remove a fish down the road in 12 months.

Sorry I didn't see the 2 JDs until now. That tank would be too small. Get rid of the JDs and you will be fine.

Okay guys, his tank is: 47x21x24 inches, roughly 100 gallons

(1 inch = 2.54 cm)

I think it might work okay but probably not long-term unless you have a ton of filtration.

oh i thought it was just one senegal, one oscar and a pair of GTs but now i see it is one GT and a pair of JDs oscar and senegal. i think that tank is too small long term.

Thanks everyone for the info, seems like the tank is never big enough. Somehow i think that is a problem we all share :)

I have the same size tank for my grow out and its not 3.8 its 3.93707 im safe to call 4foot i think .

get rid of the osacr and replace on jd with something else u like not to big and have good filtration. I have juvi goldsaum,jd,festa, jag and con in mine but mines a grow out wich should last maby a year 4 me once most fish other than oscars hit 6 inches there growth is ment to be slow iv read on mfk carnt rember who posted that thoe.
