wow! never would have expected that on the glass. I'm glad someone is trying some different ideas.

its never big enough lol....im working on a 650 i dont even want to finish because i know its not gonna cut it in the end. you have inspired me to push the limits on my glass. i have a 4x8 of 3/4 acrylic how high do you think i could go?
yea you could go bigger than 650 if u have the room. mine is 8ft by 50inch by 56 in. if i was u id go 10 ft long by 4 ft high by 5ft deep. that would be pretty nice . my inside measurements are 88 inch by 50 inch but i only fill it to 44 inch at the most by 50 inch deep. if ur inside measurements are 112 by 44 by 62 u would be over 1300 gallons thats twice what u were going to build. id put a center brace on ur window like i did. let me know if u need any info when u go to build it wish i would of took pics step by stepwednesday13;3860914; said:

thanks for another pic and the advice on dimensions. I cant believe no1 else is putting their 2cents in on this. i think its amazing someone finally proved the glass calculators wrong. the only question now is time. How long will it hold lol! This seriously saves us some change on glass prices.
