Wonder if it has to do with their metabolism...like burning more calories because of the lesser O2 content in warmer water. Conering more water to get the nessasary O2 in the blood...Hmmmm

Same here..around 84-86F, haven't noticed any difference in behavior since I always had the temp at that level. Maybe I'll lower the temp to 80F and see if there is any behavioral changes. :D
 
83.4 seems to be my number. I have to allow for a bit of room because the nights are so cold. I cover the tank at night to maintain an even temp. If it gets warmer, my Aro gets highly agitated.
 
my aros fine post some pics i wanna see :) i kept him in that range just in case he got sick i could raise it up to 84 to kill off anything. my reasoning was if its always kept at 84 then if he is sick do i raise it to 90? and i think its too hot for them. i guess there is no harm either way

Yeah, that's how I feel, want some room to raise it so I don't max it out.
