Very nice man. I think the overflows look awesome. I will think about it for awhile probably. At this stage I am very excited to move fwd and just get my plants and fish so I probably will not.

Awesome looking tank though!!!!

Btw, I dunno why in my pics the pipes are so easy to see. In person they are not that noticeable. Probably the camera takes the reflection out of it so easier to see through.

So being an impatient person I added these guys yesterday. I am in the process of cycling so we will keep a close eye on everything.

Ammonia at .25-.35 ish
Nitrite around .25-.35 ish
Nitrate around 5-6

2nd day with fish. Kind of funny because the swords are mating after the 1st day.

2 guppies are pregnant and ready to pop.

Hopefully the stress from the cycling won't mess with them too bad. Tomorrow I will probably perform a 50% water change. Trying to seed the tank and already went through a bottle of Stability and probably over 1/4 bottle of Nite-out. LFS didn't offer any media. Maybe I will aggravate them tomorrow.

So finished with stocking. Bought a few more guppies and the one female graced me with 30 something more lol. The biggest female guppy has yet to deliver but looks like any day now.

Plants are finished minus a few more swords probably.

No we wait. Cycle, breed (if they survive the cycle). Probably 1 month or so I will be comfortable enough to get the big guys in.

So just an update. I have about 60 fry I the nets, and probably another 30 estimated swimming around (smart ones are hiding in plants). I had to use media stock to cover the overflow as a few are in the sump. One pregnant female is in the overflow right now darnit. I Will get a black permanent solution pretty soon. Ai will probably put media bags over FX5 intakes. No idea if I am losing fry to them or not. I think just about every female is pregnant.
Swords, guppies, and mollies. They do not waste any time that's for sure.
Water is getting pretty clean. Glass is pretty dirty from my kids right now. I am trying to have a "no touch" policy, but they slip up from time to time and that is ok.
Still cycling, but all is still looking good as of now.
I may remove the large drift wood on the left and keep the log with Java Fern when Armatus arrives. Or at least when he gets around 9"-10".

Casualties are one Male sword and one female. I don't think it was the water quality.
So to wrap it up. Things are going as planned. I would like the plants to take off and/or not die at least and maybe add some more for cover. I will add a bit more black sand in streaks or in the background or something. I have it just got tied up with WCs.

Sorry for pic quality. Just wanted to get one up.
