I have a young dovii pair id like to put in this tank about 7" and wondering if im limited by the height as to keeping them in this tank long term?

20" should be plenty tall enough, they need the foot print space more than the height and that tank has really nice dimensions 
they should do well in that tank. is it like a ray tank or something? i have never seen a tank with those dimensions

yeah me neither, thats the beauty of craigslist. the acrylic is perfect and i picked it up for 50$. im super excited to get it set up.
$50 bucks damn wish i could find a deal like that up here,,,good luck with the dovii they should do real well in that tank.
dang that has to be the best pick up i have heard of!! only 50!! thats insane, just buying the acrylic for a tank that size would cost more than that, you def lucked out, seems like your dovii were meant to have an awesome tank
holds water fine. the guy really didnt know what he had and had it sitting for a while. the tank looks barely used. he also was selling a 6'11"x18"x30" glass tank for 40 that was gorgeous looked custom built but weighed like 400 lbs.
