okay it seems the consensus is im okay with the doviis now any reccomendations as to what I could put with them while theyre smaller cause theres gonna be a lot of room in there for two 8 inch fish imthinking another pair of something maybe chancho or midas let me know what you think

i would just add dithers something that your not gonna miss if they dovii kill them off.

Adding small schooling fish.......5 dozen Cardinal Tetra...........Just replace the fish as they go missing every month........A pair of Dovii deinate fills that tank perfectly.........Within a year, those fish will be super big, and super breeding..............You do not want anything in that tank other than the pair............

i know that the doviis will need that tank to themselves and will not allow anything with them in a year or so but i think having a couple breeding pairs in a big tank would be really cool even if its for six months or so then ill have to move them out when the doviis want them out. its just a thought would chanchos be okay till the doviis 12" or so? or any other pair suggestions?
