Miles where exactly is the crack located?

On the long side.. Theres a pic of it. Wouldn't be hard to fix.

I think the original problem was the guy who built it didn't use thick enough acrylic, and it exploded when he 'tested' it. I talked to an acrylic worker about repairing and re-inforcing it, and he told me it would need some 1x1cm 'strips' on every seam of the tank. He quoted me $200 to repair it..

Im just hoping to find a local reptile nut who wants it for some big monster reptile..

darn that sucks, u should of sold it to me lol, i would of fixed it up for sure, a take like that is just asking for fish

So you're saying it's 300 for the tank and roughly 200 to make it safe to keep water in? I have to have something wrong here.

What is the thickness of the material used to construct the tank?
i.e. what is too thin?

My concern would be that it >ISN'T< repairable.

I had a 65 gallon acrylic tank shipped to me damaged with two BIG fractures on the front and back viewing panels which I got to DIY repair and I had absolutely no trouble with it for a good year until I broke it down and sold everything.

Chances are, you can fix it without a problem.

It's 18" tall..

They used 3/8" acrylic I believe, when the dimensions call for 1/2".. Not sure, but that was the impression I got.
