You should grow out some nice aro's in there. In a few years they will be as large as the large ones you can buy now.

got up to temp not bad at all, three heaters going, took two or three days i guess, there will be at least one more 300w heater going into the sump though.

a friend of mine who is WAY more knowledgable than i, is gonna help me set the filter up soon, first chamber will be a fluidized section using 'Kaldness' and jap matting, the next two sections will be full of about 25kg 'lytag' to do further biological, excuse me if i'm wrong on this, and the last section or two will be foams and filter wool, jap matting used in all sections i think. He uses the same set up (plus more) and has great fish/water. can't wait :)

i have fish in my tank :grinno: small they may be but fish are fish :grinno: put 8 leopard danios in today to help start the cycling, they love it especially after being in a foot square tank! Maybe i should get get schools of tetra in there, hmmmmmm.

got all the media now apart from the jap matting which i ordered today, bit of luck i will have it this side of the weekend and can then get the main filter finally going properly, just gotta buy the pump over the weekend.
 
Damn that looks nice. Ya should take a picture next to the tank or put something there as a size reference.
