rocks have been taken care of and the 2 big middle rocks have been replaced with large bamboo trees.

ge II clear caulk is aquariums safe and would hold those large rocks together pretty well, its really not a matter of if they fall, but when, ive had some pretty sturdy stuff fall, i bump it when im cleanin or kids play in the aquarium, dont leave anything to chance

awsome set up though, dont give up, i like the angled rocks and so will your critters

I agree that the first pic looks better. You could put the rocks on the side, the fish will still use them.
