I have like 45 guppies in there and 6 ghost shrimp. I have the 3 parts to my ac110s and they are running. My temp of water is 78-80f and yes your right i will wait about a month before I put anything in there. I do have a question though, should I still do water changes ? While cycle is in process thanks for your inputDo you have some established filter media and something to feed them with? The tank won't cycle without those things in a week. If you need help with a fishless cycle I can offer some tips I've done several in the last few months and have it down pretty well.
Weekly , 10% water changes can still be done.I have like 45 guppies in there and 6 ghost shrimp. I have the 3 parts to my ac110s and they are running. Yes that's what I figured because in a pair they can be real nasty. I'll wait for him last if there is space for him, wouldn't know where to find a marbled convict though gotta search themI think a single male marble con would look good and be fine with those tankmates. I've found if you start with juveniles and have only one con, not a pair, they are generally well behaved as far as cichlids go.
Should I syphon the gravel or just take out water I figured all that poop n stuff under gravel should stay for tank to cycle faster ?Weekly , 10% water changes can still be done.
