90 Gallon cycling...help plz

i jsut went thru the same thing w my 120. i had 2 small oscars and a gar in it. i hooked up my filter in my established 55g for about 2 wks. which i guess helped but it just screwed me up. i was pumped to get the fish in and did it to soon. i was doin about 40% water changes to keep my nitrites down, my ammonia has stayed at 0 since i set the tank up. finally after hundreds of gallons later, my tank is about done. it sucks lol

I has a tank crash after I had to medicate it. I didn't have any available filter media or anything.

I used a product called "septo bac" (used for septic tank bacteria) and the tank corrected itself in under a week as opposed to the 4+ weeks

get stability to help speed it up, sounds like your in the thick of it right now, keep the water changes every 2-3 days if you want to limit stress on your fish as well

i sure hope this is the worst of it, these water changes everyother day are killing me, im actually doing one now lol
