Thank you all for all of the input, i have changed my mind 123123 times but now i think im leaning back toward the exodon idea, i saw a youtube video of them feeding and schooling and i think maybe 20 in a 90 gallon would be cool. could i put any sort of algae eater in there with them, i was thinking maybe a pigger pleco or two?
I really enjoyed my Red Bellied Piranha tank when i had it, you can obviously watch them devour live food they will not bother your plants and they will typically school together. They will also down aquadine and other dry foods to keep your cost down. They are quite hardy and a usually pretty cheap if you get them young. Just keep up on water changes because they can be very messy especially if fed a large amount of live food. I loved my piranha tank and would highly recommend it.
