90 Gallon Stocking Question

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If you want the 2 oscars I would go for it, people seem to have pretty good luck with 2. 3 is often an issue, because somebody ends up the "third wheel" and gets hammered by the other 2...but I would definitely go for it.

BN pleco, syno cat, or big pictus (like 4-line) are all solid cat options too.

I recommend sumping the 90 its a more efficient filter and will add a few gallons of bio say a thirty gallon sump also there will be no intakes in the way you can put your heater in the sump also we all know how those oscar attitudes get and they love to (play) attack things .

I completely agree! Although i have no setups atm that are sumped, but i have replaced MANY Jäger heaters over the last years since ive kept midas and the likes.. Now though i got my hand on some titanium heaters that they cant break fortunatly :D

But to the original question, hell yes, keep 2 oscars in a 90, they will love it!
