90 gallon tank + Discus, but........

My water hardness is quite high as well. I do not have an actual number to report for that but i KNOW that whenever i do any kind of testing the results are always in the higher bands. I think that it depends on how you acclimate your fish. I would maybe think about doing half ro/tap then slowly switch to tap. If you are going domestics i like ones from Germany because they seem to be doing a lot less inbreeding and more mixing. I see you already decided on wilds though which should be great :)
I wish the best for you and your fishies :)

For what it's worth. I have 1 wild and 3 domestics in the same tank with some CL's. Once in a while I notice a clear/white stringy feces hanging from the wild one, but have never seen one from the domestics. The wild one is also very shy - all three of the domestics come to greet me at feeding times while the wild one is staying in the back. They've always been together and been with me for awhile. I just love my leopard and blue diamond which are very personable for discus.
