90 Gallon Tank

I decided to go with freshwater because of the bichirs. I really enjoy Ornate Birchirs. Can a pair live comfortably with other fish and if yes can you tell me some other fish that can safely live with them? My tank is 48in. by 18in. by 25in. it is a 90 Gallon Tank, Thanks

You can keep many bichirs in a 90 gallon.. as for tankmates.. there are many options to choose from. It depends on what you like.. just make sure whatever you choose will not fit into a bichirs mouth or it will be its food..

I would go with some smaller species. I keep 2 Ornates in a 100g
and i really need a bigger tank cause they get huge

Try Senegal or Delhezi

they will be fine for quite a while.
actually,most bichirs would be fine for quite a while except maybe endlis,congicus,ansorgii and p.b.bichir.
as for tankmates,no aggressive fish.
and of course...no fish small enough to eat or big enough to eat the bichirs.
slime sucking fish usually dont work either..
