BioZyme is what Petsmart sells it as.

That's not cycling, though. You're talking about bacteria that will physically eat poop (used in septic systems so that poop doesn't clog any of the pipes).

Ive completely converted to just throwing fish in a tank and using Seachem Stability until the tank is fully cycled. Have yet to even come close to losing a fish. If water levels get too high, just do a water change with prime, then add more stability.

This. One 9$ bottle will cycle your tank with fish in it in a week. :D

I think you're the straw that broke the camel's back. I've been kinda iffy about trying this, but you've got to the be tenth person who claims it works miracles. I might just try it out the next time I cycle a tank...

Anyone know if we can buy shares in Seachem?:grinno:

I used 5 feeder goldfish and a bottle of tetra smart start to cycle my 90G tank in 2 weeks...........

Stability from SeaChem will work if you CAN FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.
It worked for all my tanks.

thank you for all the feed back. i did some research on biozyme and i chose to give it a try. i got a few bucks to spend so i went with the petco biozyme instead of the septic stuff. it just seem wierd to put toilet stuff in the tank even though it prolly exactly the same stuff. if this dont work ill def try more ways that ive read on here

What exactly do you think our fish tank filters are other than glorified toilets for our fish? lol.
