I got your email but wasnt sure how to respond to it. The filter on there is a pond filter, similar to a pool filter but built differently. Basically all it is a is a pump pulling water from the tank and pushing it through the filter and back into the returns.

Only when they are small there really sensitive larger ones are usually pretty durable.

What do African's of these sizes eat? When they're small it's bloodworms right?

Right now it eats pellets, when it was small i use to feed him black worms.

Thanks guys no plans yet to put any decor. I think I'll just leave it bare the fish are growing to fast and soon it won't look so big.
