900g acrylic tank

If you find a well built 900 gallon acrylic tank new for $4500 then order me 10. I’d take a look if it’s only 45 minutes away. Most of that dirt will wipe off. What you want to look for is bubbles/white patches in the seams and cracks. The pump looks similar to a hammerhead/barracuda pump. Solid pumps. The rust id be hesitant on as they seize if not in use for a while. The sump looks pretty basic but will do the job.

I’m all for second hand and depending on the seams it could work. But at the risk of a 900 gallon blow out you’d be spending a fortune to fix the damage. It’s a good deal and might be in great shape seam wise but I personally wouldn’t risk it.

id say yes if its the whole kit, but if its 900 gal on timber, the stand might give way eventually. so keep that in mind...

I'd just check the condition.....ask seller questions about how it was stored...if outside for sure walk away but if inside inspect seams and do a leak test.......dirt and minor scratches is easy to deal with....I wouldn't trust that stand by the looks of it as well as that pump. Pay close attention to the seams..look for bowing....make sure acylic thickness is adequate to tanks height.....I can tell you buying that tank brand new is waayyyy more than 4500. Trust me the price of acrylic these days is up...I just bought 8 full sheets of 1/4 and 1/2 inch acrylic and seller told me prices shot up higher because covid.....many businesses and especially hospitals have been buying it for barriers.
