Nice, I just got a small 2 ft tank which I will set up a sump for, just likeyour one except I won't be drilling into the sides of the tank to make the overflow.

One thing, what did you put into the 2nd empty bucket? The pump?
 
Awesome. Best looking one i have seen. Could you maybe give some of us novices a how-to or a materials list? I get the basic idea behind the filter but dont understand how it works 100%. Great job!
