90g FW Vivarium/Aquarium Build

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Nope not tempered just very thin and I didn't take the weight of the drill into account. Live and learn good thing 29s are cheap if my 90 did this when I drilled it for this project I would have lost it.

Drilling thin glass is always a pain!!! Your background looks amazing, cant wait to see this finished!

Minor update, this build took a backseat to somethings going on but I finally got the front glass installed. Once the silicone is 100% cured its water testing time!!! The only hang up is building the stand its over 100degs down here and my garage is far from cool so I'm having a hard time motivating myself to finish building the stand for this tank. (I just need s rainy day when I'm not on base and I'll knock it out.)

Eagerly awaiting an update! Thinking of doing a vivarium/paludarium build myself soon and this is great for ideas!

Ok the long awaited update.....I was out of town on orders the last few months then got side tracked with another project and finally I'm back on it. The stand is done and water testing has been a huge success!!!!! The only issue I ran into was plumping the return line from the pump, I picked up the wrong size elbow for the project. Tomorrow I'll fix this issue and have all the plumbing complete!

So waterfall and return pump test complete......and my waterfall has some issues. It falls the wrong way and fills the island with water. So I need to let the place dry out and fill in a few spots with concrete to re-route the waterfall. Besides that issue everything worked out great! No leaks on any of the seams and not leaks coming from the bulk heads. I'll post pics after I fix the waterfall.
