No, the STs are much too small at only 7-8" and I thought they were going to be bigger but I cant complain. They arent the "quality" STs I like such as ones with fine, smooth, even bars. They do have a very tall body that I like!
I few months ago I walked into a LFS and there was a 12" ST for $100 but some dude was walking to it with an employee who had a bucket and net! I offered the shop $150 MORE and they said he beat me to it so it was his!
I do think Im going to test it out on the orinos when they get bigger. They are such a beautiful fish and being a cichlid, should be easy practice.
