Hey Everyone!!!

My oscar has ich, its on his side fins?? and starting to go on his head, i just moved him to a 5.5 gallon for quarantine and put some medicine in, what is my next step, the 5.5 was water from the tank he was in, what do i do!! how long does he stay in, please help, i am new to ich!!!

Read the directions on the meds...What did you use. I just use 86 degrees, and salt to cure ich. Good luck.

U SHOULD TREAT THE Tank he was in also. the eggs are still in that tank. treat with copper safe for 7 days. or quICK CURE. AS DIRECTED ON THE BOTTLE.

I'd also treat tank he was in. Bumping the temp and adding salt will work too. As the free swimming life stages can't tolerate it.

seachems paragaurd works great.... just upping the temp and adding salt works great...ich is the easiest thing to get rid of...

Ok i did the directions how it doesn't say anything about durration except till gone? how long should he stay in a 5.5 not long i think??! and i have a turtle in the tank he was in !?!?! it says no amphibians???

just pull the turtle out.... its not a situation...
