I had like 4 jewel cichlids, they are not very pretty. Heres suggestion, get turquoise jewel cichlid, they are stunning.
Also blue texas is not as pretty as green texas. My profile is green texas and its blue. Blue texas is silver color.

can we please use actual names to be more specific about when we are talking about actual texas cichlid (cyanoguttatus) or about carpintis species, its very confusing when worded like that and as for stocking i think if you got a carpintis escondido and either GT or JD (i would go with JD as GT might be too aggressive for escondido) and then some other smaller fish that would be AWESOME tank :)
 
Thanks for the replies everyone, i'll be looking for a carpintis escondido around here, soon enough, as long as my tank arrives in time (it was supposed to be delivered last friday).... can't wait to see this tank running !! :headbang2
