Lmb are delicious table fare.
 
lmb steamed (chinese style) are actually my second favorite fw food fish , chinese perch being the first.... but that was when i was in Hong Kong though.....

I fish a lot and have eaten LMB and SMB. They are great eating fish. Sunfishes and crappies are actually in the same family as LMB/SMB and taste similar, but panfishes have way less meat. Walleye and perch don't live in all of the places that the basses live, and I've never known anybody near the East coast that eats them.
