I found out this thing out on my computer called cropping....no lie. The pictures come out better when focusing on a single item.

point n shoot or DSLR? just get more light on top of the tank. . . pics will be clearer and the colors will POP more

I have 10 orinos and 1 peru mono I used the standard lens on a cannon EOS
