Yes, one and the same.. You going to post build thread? I would love to see the tank from start to finish with the GG and ARO..and house to...:D
I guess there will be the inevitable tank build thread, the only issue is planning the tank build from start to finish before I do anything. That was the main problem with the pond build taking forever to finish. Dig hole and work everything out along the way, but then everything collapsed and was rushed because of it meaning a complete re-think once it was running.

The tank has to be right 1st time.

Si I'm doing the daily round wiping down the outside of the glass on the tanks and I come to the smallest where the arrow is being grown out.

It must have not seen me coming, because it had a little freak out jumped against the hood and then for good measure jumped again. Myself and the wife taken aback by such a day today thing, find the fish hiding in a plant in the corner, with one eye and the barbels pointing out and the rest of the fishes body wrapped around the stem of the plant.

On close inspection, no visible damage and the fish is breathing fine, so we decide to leave it for ten minutes and see what happens, nothing no movement. Still breathing fine and looking mighty hacked off we leave it again this time leaving the room for another ten minutes.

Came back, the fish has righted itself and is swimming as normal 6 inches or so behind the power head.

5 minutes later, eating prawns and happy again, mad moody fish!

Thanks, Very much a novice aro keeper but I'm learning all the time, you can alone read so much before you have to gain the practical experience.

I did a water change last night and it hid wrapped around a plant again, sulking. As soon as the fresh water went in it loved it.
