is it dead or alive you can put fish in your sump but alot of times they get washed or sucked into them and die and nobody takes them out they just let them rot

oh that's sad..

hey Bdrick..when you say maintenance, is the fish cleaning it?

Sorry man I was being jokingly sarcastic:grinno:

I've had many small fish get into my overflows, but never had any go to the sump. In this case it could be a number of things maybe one of the employees is hiding the fish there until payday so they can buy it.

No,i mean fish jumping into the bio portion and getting lodged in the bio balls and left there to rot.I dont mean the big-open water part,i know fish can be raised in there.I mean jumpers falling into a 7 foot acrylic full of bio-balls.And never taken out.Poor staff, poor ethics.

OH this fish was big...around 8"..i'm no expert but unless it's like an eel..i don't think a fat cichlid would get sucked up the intake.lol
haha Bderick; I HOPE it's a payday thing..

the filter is directly below the tank by the way. under a table which the tank is situated
