a bit of advice needed

The other day I picked up 2 johannas about 4 inches there in 124 gal and while I was in the trop shop they also had 2 proteus at the same size . I was just wondering if they would be ok with the johannas any advise welcome thanks in advances

the johanna will grow to at least twice the size since proteus max out at around 6" and johanna can easily grow to 12". I don't think the proteus would do well once the Johanna gain some size. I do think that proteus would be better suited for your size tank in the long run.
