i havent tried the sun sun filters yet. But i do have one of these. its realy close to a ehiem. total knockoff. I got it running with two ehiam pros on my one tank. It makes no noise. hasnt gave me any issues. like it as much as my ehiems. and for the price hard to beat.

Neat idea. Would be good for those that like everything in a well though out, user friendly package. It's like the iPhone of aquarium filters, and sumps would be Android

LOL quit trolling the canister threads Jose! I like how you managed to take a jab at iPhones and canisters in one post.
I personally am probably not ever going to even consider buying one but I like keeping up with new filters.

Just FYI, you'd never have to replace bio media and I'm pretty sure you could rig something up to re-use anything else.

Yeah biostars don't need replaced, I'd still rather fill that area with substrat pro.... Seems like a great idea but with my eheims and fx5s I don't really need anymore filters...

Cool concept...but damn that's one ugly filter.

I like the concept, especially being able to add additional units in like for extra filtration while only needing one set of hoses still, although I would think that you would loose a substantial amount of flow by running three inline instead of just one.
