I thought it only right to publically say thanks to Danny for a superb service. All arrived in perfect condition this morning and are settling in nicely in their new home.

Thanks again. :headbang2

Apologies for the photo quality as i am using a camera phone but it givesyou an idea.

:nilly:

yeah they're both taking dead stuff fine now. I jsut needed to get the positioning of the food correct as well as bin the crap lance fish i was using in place for the nice stuff i have now.

The second is fine, but is hiding in those pics. they are happy enough and are getting more and more active, especially during feeding- it used to be that they would only feed in the dark but now they happily come to take the food as soon as it is in the tank. The Geo's are very brave and take blood worm from my hand!

Yeh the geos are greedy little sods. Soon as i went near tank they would be at the top waiting and then come to hand feed. I used them like that to try and encourage the bass to hand feed to, which they are at present which is good.
Any sign of aggression from the tats towards the geos?
I gave geos pellets aswell to try and power feed them alittle as well.
Glad all doing good.
Dan

the Tats have a good look and chase them on the odd occasion but the Tats are the least of my worries. The sodding Bichir got one of the Geo's at the weekend which really pissed me off. It really isn't helping itself and if it misbehaves again i'll either rehome it or send it to speak to my Mala....

I have bottom feeder pellets which are too big for the Geo's but they disolve after a few minutes and they love the stuff when it's in the sediment.

One thing i was debating adding is that one of the Tat's has developed a small case of Ich which i'm currently treating with salt and higher temps. I wasn't going to say anything as it shouldn't be anything to worry about. I wasn't sure to begin with due to their silver scales but it became more apparent the longer i stared. I thought it could be someithng stupid like sand grains!

As i say they should be absolutley fine.

i think the geo's were the carriers as they were constanty rubbing themselfs on the substrate. I could be wrong though as i've never kept Geo's before so wouldn't be able to tell you if that's normal for them.
