i believe puffers go great with africans because of the similar water chemistry but the puffer will not be long lived because they need brackish water. i had one in with mbuna and it was good but it ate about $50 worth of peackoks so now he has his own brackish tank but i've seen some green spot puffers about the size of a golfball that lived happily with africans every fish is different
