I'm a fisheries biologist in South Louisiana. I spend most of my my days where the marsh meets the gulf south of New Orleans.

After seeing these pictures, I suspected you were more than just a hobbyist:)

I had a Caribbean/Tropical Atlantic tank several years ago. My favorite was this fellow. Rather rare in Maine waters.

Cool fish! It came up in on of those warm eddies that breaks off the gulf stream? Did you catch it?
Yes, and yes. I had it for about 11 years.
