well you have great fish but you are mixing two difrent lakes..adn it can be done but it's not recomended
i don't recomend you going on with the frontosa cause 90g its a very small tank for frontosas.
tropheus aren't peackoks.
try to not mix haplochromis with the mbuna type fish..both from lake malawi although electric yellow (labidochromis caerleus) can be mixed

if it's posible get more synos .. i'm sure they won't gett any trouble breeding in there..

and i'm glad that your lpcal fish shop helps you..but thety aren't always are right ..so the best thing you can doo its read..!
googd luck and keep you pic of progges coming..!
At least he isnt trying to cram haps into a 20 gallon like other people on this site.

Nice tank. I love the holey rock/black gravel. One of the nicest looking tanks Ive seen in a while. Wait until that Taiwan Reef colors up. He will be a stunner.

Yes I agree with posts above. You might want to re evaluate your fish list. The venustuss will get to about 9" and get very aggressive if it turns out to be male. The frontosa will also get rather large and they do best in larger tanks in schools of 6 to 12. Looks like they are all juvenile right no so it might work for a while. Trust me I made the same mistakes when I first got into the hobby. My best advice would be pick a lake, find the fish you like and do the research before you buy (even fish from the same lake should not be in the same tank). Just because they all are from africa doesn't mean that they can all go in the same tank.... That is unless you have a deep wallet and don't mind restocking because africans ain't cheep in my area.

Nice looking rock.... hope there is enough hiding spots. As stated above, ask many questions. Your LFS might be knowledgeable, but the Front. might have been avoided.

thanks for the advise I appreciate it alot, if there are any other suggestions about stocking let me know

I need these three fish Identified: the first one is really agressive, he is pretty small but he pushes all of the fish around

The second one looks like a Male Saulosi before his color change.

First one looks like a hybrid.
Last one is a Polystigma.
