a couple quik questions on polypterus

i'm thinking albino senegal should have the 29 as a minimum. they rarely if ever reach past the 10" mark.

a senegal can be happy in a 29 for quite a while, but i do agree it'd enjoy something with a little larger footprint.
 
I'm not really going on how the bircher looks, i'm going on their availability and price. The Senegal is the only one that i have seen in any of the pet stores that are around were i live and i don't want to have to buy one online and then have it shipped.
 
ya, i've only seen senegals and a palmas polli. I'd go ahead and get a senegal, you won't regret it. If you are patient, get a 3" or so one, and u'll love watching him grow, but if you aren't, go ahead and try and get the biggest one you can find within reason (as in that doesn't cost twice as much) and u'll be insanely in love with his personallity.
