Damn, I'd love to see some updated pictures of him from whoever has him now. He was definitely one of the best I've ever seen.

Thank you very much, I do my best to keep him happy. Where in NC are you? I picked mine up at Fintastic when I worked there a year and a half ago. Thoguh I'm pretty sure he originally came from Rapps.

Sweet!! yeah im hoping mine gets along with tankmates in a 5ft tank i hear they can be pretty brutal when they get some size to them so im keeping my fingers crossed (they really need to make a "fingers crossed" smilie i have needed one several times lol)
 
Sarah - I'm sure yours wiill be alright, what are your plans for the tank in the long run? Mine has been a big pushover for the most part. At one point in time he was with a school of swordtails and never bothered them at all. Yet when I put my hand in the tank, he turns black, flares up, and tries to chew my fingers off.

driftwood - Thank you very much for the kind words - I really appreciate it. Currently he's with a 2-3" Female Cryptoheros Sajica. There hasn't been any aggression up until last night when we were taking pictures. The Argentea definitely doesn't like sharing the spotlight! :D
 
not quite sure on my long term plans yet, not really planning on getting a bigger tank any time soon so its pretty much just a wait and see to see who gets along and who needs to go, will probably end up with the Arg, GT pair (or just the male), and an escondido but they all still have a lot of growing to do before i have to make up my mind lol
