i was wondering if this happens regurlarly to all who cleans and do water changes on their tank, mine clouds up after 24 hours when i change the water.i do about 30-40 % water change.and this is on a 240 g.then when i do it on my 75 g it just stays clear.let know guys whats going on with this.thanks.

Are you treating the new water or just using tap water? The chlorine in the tap water could hurt your beneficial bacteria causing the tank to cycle every time you do a water change. If your not treating your water go with a smaller water change. Something like 10% and you may have to do that twice as often so two 10% water changes in the same period you were just doing the one large water change.

Sounds like you're over cleaning and creating a mini-cycle

i think i did a mini cycle.is this harmful to thi fishes?...the tank has been cycled.it's just when i water change i do about that much everytime.

it doesn't make sense... are you adding water conditioner to the new water before it goes into the tank or do you just mix it in the tank? I know a lot of people add water conditioner to the tank as they add the water. If you dont get it to mix proporly before it gets sucked up into the filter then youre killing off some of the BB in the filter. try pre-mixing the conditioner next time if you're not doing it already.
