Found my EBJD dead this morning. The female in the tank is fine and there are no marks on him so it looks like another case of sudden EB death syndrome. I raised him from 2" to 6" and he seemed to be doing well. He hasn't fed aggressively since I moved him a few months ago so I thought something might be up. He was a little deformed (bent face) so again, I sort of expected him to have a shorter life span. Just not this short...

sorry for the loss, i bet he was a nie fish though

He was the most gorgeous fish I've ever owned. I'll probly get another if I can find one. Maybe even order a group of 1"ers and see how they come about.

Sorry for your loss, EBJD's are well known for being delicate when juvi's.

yeh i want soem pics of them.

I'm sorry to hear about your EBJD. It's tough when you raise such a delicate fish. Did you ever take any pictures of him at 6 inches?

Sorry to hear it.. is it true that these guys suffer sudden death quite often.. why because of the genetic breeding? Are they weak from the start.. always wanted a few but fiqured i would wait until they have stronger species.. that would really hurt me to lose one after i got him to 6 inches for no apparent reason.. :(
