A death in the family

They are really delicate fish, and the fact that they really can't defend themselves makes it difficult to keep them they seem to thrive better in a tank by themselves. I have a one and before that one, I went through about 3 of them, and at $30 a fish, they are really expensive fish to lose. Sorry for the loss, good luck!

I think when I'm able to get into a house and set up a stable fish room I'll try again. His personality changed completely when I moved him from my old apartment to my new one. In a way, it was like I had already lost the fish I enjoyed so much because he went from a pugnacious, hungry, interactive personality to a skittish mirage that stayed hidden and rarely fed actively. I tried adding dither fish, a mate, changing diet, nothing worked. I also held back from attachment because I knew they were so fragile. Still rough though. Little bastard.
