I don't know, I do know that in some areas they are heavily fed on by LMB and very large trout. I have fed them to american eels, pike cichlids, pike characins, and several other fish in the 10-16" range as well as many smaller fish, Pike topminnows went nuts for them and so did little cockatoo apistogrammas.
