Nice looking fish. I'm a huge fan of your Trimac and Carpintis. And that pond looks great! How many gallons is it? Got a build thread for it?

No build thread it is about 8X6 and 2.5 deep. It was inspired by an article in TFH several years ago about Mo Devlin's pond that he used to have. They are very easy to build.

Thanks everyone.

How are the myrnae doing?

Doing well. The smallest female has free swimmers for the first time last week. It was a tiny spawn will only about 10 of them so I just left them to there fate. Hopefully next time she has a larger spawn and if so I'll pull them and grow some out. Thanks again for the hook up on them!!

Very awesome. Thanks Gentry. Did you just use a regular pondliner then put sand and rock on top?

I used rebar pieces to frame it wil 4X4 postes. From there you just buy a pond liner and install it inside. The floor is concrete so I put a layer of sheet insulation under the pond. It just has pool filter sand and rock in it. I filter it with a large pond canister made for ponds up to 5000g. It has a 3000gal/hr pump running it.

Amazing collection of central you've got there! I've just decided; I'm keeping these fenes!

Glad you like there parents. They are a lot brighter in person then the camera can really capture. One of my favorite fish for sure.

That male xilo looks huge. How big is he now?

I measured him when I had him out. He was 11.75". He came from a wild pair that was from the original import by Rapps. That pair passed away last year so I'm really glad I kept 6 out of there last spawn.
