nice, Ty. too bad you had to get rid of the ocel. I'm thinking that one will turn out to be a mono...

(i mean, it already is what it's going to be, but you know what i mean)

planning on getting any more?

Thanks, Paul.

Yeah, I liked the Occel, but I like the Kel better:D

As I said, I hope it is a Mono, but either way, I will be happy. This is the one I bought at Fish Palace, labeled as Occel.

I am interested in more. Maybe just one more for now. I want to ensure I have a big enough tank for these guys as adults, which should happen in the next year, but I can't be certain.

If you decide to sell any more of your guys, let me know! (other than the small Pinima, because I am afraid he is to small for my other fish - btw, how big is he now?)

that's why i don't have any ocels anymore after losing my WC :D

what size tank are you hoping on getting? if you're keeping a pinima, obv youre going to need something a little larger than for your "mono" and kel

it's at least 4" now. at this point, i would probably sell the larger one instead. It's at least 5".

that kelberi is going to be a stunner if he looks anything like rapps second batch.. hold onto that fish! ;)

I am planning on a 300. When I get one is dependent on when I move into a new house. what is the smallest bass you have with the bigger Pinima? I just dont want to run into the same problem as with the Occel.

Oooh brother it looks like I got a little competetion here for Paul's stock. LOL

I wouldn't worry about size issues. From my experience with them raising them all together is your best bet. New introductions is were you will begin to see problems. I have a 9'' Johana in with the Pinima and the other's. My smallest Occelaris is 14'' maybe the Pinima chase him but still haven't tried to eat him. So if that makes sense raising them all together is the key to a multiple Cichla Sp tank imo.. so far!

Oh, come on man, your stock is good enough. Leave some of the Cichla for the rest of us.:D

What you say makes sense. I am just cautious because I had a 6-7 inch Ocel in the 125. I tried to add the Kelberi, and he tried to eat him:eek: He had the front half of the Kels body in his mouth. Thankfully, he was full of feeders, so he spit the Kel out.
