nice start, I like how you decided to go bare bottom as well its going to look great when covered in coraline. Also what all are you running on your system?!

we started with a sand bed, and we felt that it was a nitrate factory. So we chose to remove it. Hoping between coraline and shrooms..it will be covered over soon.

120g DT
150 lr
2 mj 1200 with sure flow 2000 upgrade

plumbed to closet we built in the basement for easier access
50g sump with dual inlet filter sock/ protien skimmer/chaeto/lr rubble/ kalkwasser diy thingy hubby made
little giant 4 1200 gph

2x400w metal halide 20k
6x54w T5 410k daylight 2 actinics

oh yeah we have an r/o unit for our house that we plumbed in the Kalk reactor thingy and also into the sump for top off

Hubby is sooooooooo good with diy stuff
