we have one plumbed into our house. But I do know that drsfostersmith.com has several units that are very very reasonablly priced and shouldnt be to hard to hook up. I would def check them out.. or you could have the local culligan man deliver your r/o water in 5g jugs...he would be the one hauling it up the stairs..lol

well at my work we have the free ro/di water but it doesn't sound fun hauling like 3-4 five gallon jugs twice a month. i thought the ro units were way expensive but i will check again and just get a smaller tank, maybe a 60 cube

its pretty nice we ran a line from our r/o unti to our sump and hubby put a valve on it so we just turn the valve and have water for top offs. its really handy that way. then when we need to do a water change we just fill a 35g trash can with the amount of water we need, then use a pump and tubing to pump it in.

you can get a 24 gpd coralife one for bout 108 on the 2docs website

nice, i just live in an apartment so no stuff like that can be done. i will check some systems out and just stay small. i can usually get things cheap at my work. even with the discounts its going to be a bit.
