Wow, i could not find this post for a little, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I did not post the size of the tank for i know i will get yelled at. . . . . . .it's only a 75g. Not much of a monster fish keep now! It started as a Parrot, Upside down cat, oscar and a green terror. Plus a 10g planted german ram and betta tank. Then we started getting the fever. The Oscar and parrot got traded into a LFS and we sat with a GT for a while. Then we stumbled on the aro, the first one we bought about 8 inches. Came home the next day to find only the GT lived. So i was pissed, the GT went into the 125 of my dad's with his Oscar and Jack. Thats what she got, now she was the little guy. So the fever continued. I could not risk an empty tank so i got 4 angels and a baby gold sevrum and moved the rams into the 75. Now an emply 10g.....what to do? We found a juvi aro, only about an inch with a sack still, did not look very healthy so we thought we would try it anyway. Put him in the 10g to grow. Once he was like 4 inches we moved him into the 75g as well. By this time 2 of the angels we lost and the other 2 got bumped to my brothers 75..... we like to move fish. So the aro and the severum and the new juvi firmouth also with the upsidedown cat and the pleco lived happily in the 75 :) for over a year or more. The Blue acara came and went-the fire mouth really beat him up to much. The Firewouth eventually went when i realized the chunks of fin missing both from my aro and sevrum, don't ask me why he did not just eat the FM!!!
And the tank cycled like that for a few years. We finally lost the upsidown cat, most likely my favorite! I will find some pictures of him, i know i have them. About a month ago our heater failed and we only discovered a unhealthy aro (yes i know he was huge but he never showed signs of hating his small tank, and the 125 was coming as soon as i moved this month, could not have a 125 in an apartemnt) once we realized the tank temp and why he was acting weird we could not get him back, ended up dying the next day. Measured him after the fact out of the tank, 20 inches. 21 to the end of his fin :( Now the search continues, looking for a black!!!

Currently the tank has the sevrum, pleco, 2 inch pictus cat, 2-2inch clown loaches, 2 inch green severum and a 2 inch jag. I know i'm crazy but at this point i can have a 125 at any point.....once everyone is bigger planning on the soon black aro, jag, clowns and the pleco in the 125 and leaving the pitcus and sevrums in the 75 alone. Who knows, i change my mind often. Maybe some will have a better idea anyway.
