ok first would it be ok ( i ahve 3 texas growing out right now so there in the 29 for now ) if for my final stock for the 29 having 1 female JD and a female texas or a male texas solo?? and can anyone post a pic of juvinile texas cause right now 2 of 3 of my texas have black colorations under there gillplates but the one that doesnt is bigger so is it likly i have 1 male and 2 female?

and a great update!! within a week i will ahve a 20 gallon for my breeding convicts ( 24 long 12 wide 18 hight )

A 29 is most definitely not suitable for any of those fish solo. Forget about it.

20 Gallons is still too small for a pair of Convicts in my opinion.

Can it really be called a growout when thats the biggest tank you have ???:headbang2

Exactly.

29 gallons is way too small for 3 texas. actually imo it too small for 1 jack

if you want to breed a pair of small convicts in a 20 it is something that can be done, but longterm it isn't going to work when the male reaches adult size

A 29G is WAY too small for an adult female JD with a female texas, or a male texas by itself - even far too small for the female JD by itself. I think the 29G would be perfect for the breeding pair of cons, though - and them alone. Is this a joke?

it would appear that you have went back to your old bad habits. what happened man you were doing so well?
