Yea. I agree with all that is said here. The cons could be done in the 29. Certainly not the JD or Texas.
My suggestion to you would be to ease off the Cichlids until you can get a bigger tank (like at least a 75 or something). You could definitely do a nice tetra setup with some plants or something.
