Dry aragonite sand is also what I recommend. I usually recommend reef grade aragonite by caribsea.

**After a lot of reading/research The Caribsea Argonite is what appears to be the best substrate to use.

I just started a 30g about 5 weeks ago. I'm doing it on the cheap and don't have much stock yet. I'm running about $1300 so far.

are you fliping jokeing $1300 on a 30g thats not what i call cheap i can set up a 30g for less than £150 thats what i call an expensive aquarum
